The Passeier Valley is open to the South, protected by the Ötztal Alps in the North, the Sarntal Alps in the East and the Texel Nature Park in the West.

Weather today: On Friday, even after the passage of the cold front, South Tyrol will remain in a slight influence of a low. This weekend the summer will return temporarily. Foehn winds will refresh and the weather will be a little bit friendlier than on Thursday. Clouds and some sunny spells will change. The sun will dominate from Ulten to Unterland. In the north and east it will be more cloudy, but only some rain showers will pass through.
