Thermal Bath of Merano
The Thermal Bath of Merano, where mineral water containing radon is used for treatments, is much more than a simple health resort. The spa was designed by the famous Italian architect Matteo Thun. It is situated right in the heart of the town and offers to the guests a true oasis of relaxation and well-being.
The transparent cube of glass and steal, with warm elements of wood, stretches itself over 13 indoor pools. In the summer there are also open additional 12 outdoor pools, spread over the 50 000 m² huge park – pure relaxation.

Lakes for swimming
The lake Kaltern and the lake Montiggl are both easy reachable by car and welcoming you to swim with pleasant water temperatures from spring to autumn.
